tested zero 4 with windows 7 32bit

Post by driverdj2000 »

i just done some very brief testing of the zero 4 with windows 7 32 bit.
installing the firewire driver didnt go smoothly but i got it in the end.
as a simple soundcard it works well tho i havent tested it with trakor ableton etc.
zero edit wont open if the mixer is running.(as korg stated)
if you run zero edit and then power on the mixer it works, though you have to select "auto detect" everytime.
i can only get audio from the pc to play when korg is in 44.1 khz mode and i cant get zero edit to detect mixer unless its in 44.1 khz mode.
as a soundcard it works fine and sounds fine but i wouldnt go upgrading yet.
but i really cant see korg sorting this out anytime soon

Thx for the input. I have tried a zero8 with win 7 64 bit, but no sounds or midi messages come from the firewire cable. I think Korg has abandoned these mixers since they aren't even compatible with vista 64 which was released years ago!

 Thx for lousy support on the zero mixers KORG
