for some cool drum edits try modulating osc 1 in drum pcm mode with a lfo 1 to osc ctrl 2 which will in turn cycle though all the drums sounds. with the right range set for mod you can achive some interesting drum tracks with it.
plus you can trigger drum hits in the motion seq aswell within the step seq you can set the valves of the osc 1 ctrl 2 here giving some cool seq that you can play around with. great for making glitch tracks.

Indeed, with the step seqs it allows you to obtain more timbres as multi-PCM drum machines, albeit monophonic ones. [Extra info]
Or you can use it for 8-bit type wavetabling from the Commodore 64 era when modulating at high speed.
Multiplexing ftw.
Old skool.

i've been doing this for a while and with the use of both LFOs, some delay, and a mod sequencer i've been able to come up with two or three flawless drum beats per song without having to use up my step sequencers.
something that frustrates me though is that on certain timbres the control2 will hold on one setting until the next "Key On" event instead of continuously changing with the lfo. does anybody know what causes this/what setting i need to change to fix this? i've been stumped for too long. the curiosity lead me to join this forum. i'm hoping some where in all these posts is the answer
