padKONTROL conflict w/ other usb devices

Post by TOTAL »

not only BCR, but also w/ logitech steering wheel.

symptoms:

connecting BCR or logitech makes pK stop responding.

How to avoid that?

Well, we may be able to help if we know a bit more about your setup, operating system you are using, DAW software you are using. Are you running the latest USB drivers for the padKontrol (recommend the 1.12 or 1.1.2 (whatever latest was recently).

I can run the padKontrol and an Akai LPD8 controller at the same time with no issues seen so far. Not that I do that a lot but could for knob twiddling on the LPD8 for munging sounds via effects and keep the pK strictly for drums (what it's for anyways).

So more info will help us try to help you out.
