So I just got the nanoPad, installed the driver and the kontrol editor. The PC recognizes it's there and so does FL Studio. The XY pad works fine and registers movements in FL Studio. The pads (you know, the point of buying the damn thing) don't.

I see from looking around this forum that the nanoseries apparently sucks. Do I have to send this piece of crap to Korg for a replacement? Isn't it more expensive to keep replacing nano's than to just manufacture them properly?

No need to be so negative. If you call them, they send a replacement free of charge and you don't have to send yours back.
