just got a korg microKONTROL where should i start

Post by kidvid666 »

i read a bit and am downloading reason/fl studio so i can use it since i dont have the cables to hook it up to somthing other than my comp.if anyone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated cuz like i stated b4 i know very little about this device i just would like to get it up and playing so i can fiddle with it.and if u know a site that explains what exactly a midi board does vs syth or? what sliders and well maybe im getting ahead of my self im absorbing as much as i can just a bit lost at the moment.

If you want to use it to Control other hardware Like A Synth or Drum machine you will need Midi Cables (5-pin Din to 5-pin Din)

to explain in short words what A Midi Controller really is
its actually a device that sends midi commands
to explain it does actually do the same as the keyboard and knobs of a synth
But you are able to assign the rotors & faders to the things that you like to assign them to

It should work pretty well with Programs Like FL Studio & Reason
Just give it A try :D
