Amateur needs help transmitting patches to R3

Hi there,

Can someone please reply with step-by-step directions on how I can transmit sounds to my R3 using the editor? Every time that I try transmitting I get the error message "MIDI device not specified".

I went in OPTIONS and chose PREFERENCES. From there I put R3 for MIDI IN and Microsoft GS Wavelength Table for MIDI OUT. What am I doing wrong here? I simply have a USB connected to my R3 from my laptop, and my computer has detected the R3.

Any help would be great!!

You need to download and install the latest USB-midi driver from Korg's website.

try the settings in the midi - it must be the reading " usb-gerät"- "usb-device" or "usb-gerät2" or "usb-device2" .... depends on what language your os is ....
only these settings work right- i made the same expierience

midi in and out must be the same ....

Hey Teleali,

Your MIDI In should be set to R3 KBD/KNOB and MIDI Out should be set to R3 Sound.
