korg x-3 button issue

hello
i have a korg x-3 with some buttons that are inoperative
any suggestions on repairing/replacing them would be appreciated
can I fix them myself or will I have to take it to a korg technician
I bought his synth new in middle 90's and just recently over the past yr, some of the buttons stopped working
