recording Radias step sequencer MIDI output

hi,
maybe i am just too stupid, but i can´t figure out myself how to record the step sequencer MIDI output when it is triggered by a DAW.

so far i am only able to do so if i manually trigger it on my radias when it is set to "postkb" in it´s global settings, but it doesn´t seem to work when i´m trying to trigger it from my DAW even with "preTG" set in globals- which is strange since the Radias sequencers are actually playing fine this way and i can record it´s audio outputs, but it doesn´t seem to send MIDI data when i´m triggering it by my DAW.
