Hi guys.
This may sound like a dumb question to ask, but i have no experience in this field.
I have been looking through my life and wondering what i can do. I can play a few things on a few instruments. So i wanted to come here and ask you:
What would i need to make music at my home?
Like i gathered for the kind of music i want to make i'll need a synth, drum machine, loop machine, and maybe a guitar.
But can anyone find me the cheapest ways or push me into the right direction to find the things i'll need.
I want to record my music and put it online somewhere. Nothing professional. It's just i have alot of free time. So i figured why not?
Any help would be greatley appreciated. I'm not too bothered about big brands. Aslong as the guitars, drum machines, synthes and anything else you might think i'll need is cheap and works and sounds okay. Then thats cool. I need the basics to get started with, so i have about £400 to start with. Like i said i've never done this kind of thing before.
So thats why i'm asking you guys for help!
Thanks for any help.

A used synth workstation may be just the ticket for you. 16 track sequencer, ability to loop, program drums, preset patterns, ect.
Both my Le and my newer M50 have the ability to give me a good platform to create in a hardware environment. Then I can record the output and host it on the web.

Hey J.M. What are you doing right now?? I know I am bit late to advice you but I would like to give you suggestion it might help other people like you s well. As you said you can play few instruments so I advice you to do a professional course of music. As it not only teach you about music, it will also help you to make your carrier brighter. As if you join a professional course they might arrange some concerts and also show your work to others which will reduce your struggle of making your carrier.joshmiles89 wrote:Hi guys.
