Newbie help with FX presets

Post by Daffyduk1 »

Just bought M50 and have been watching video tutorials. Right now I am working on adding a stereo compressor to the IFX1 slot. When I push the "P" button on the screen there are supposed to be some fx presets as I scroll to the beginning page. There are none loaded. What do I need to do to get the presets?
I have installed version 1.05
HELP???

I'm new too. Go to the page IFX Set up and youll find a lot of presets there. from there go the actual IFX number tab to tweak it.

I'd update your M50 to the latest firmware (1.1.0), just for peace of mind's sake.

Here is the link: http://www.korg.com/uploads/Download/M5 ... 620000.zip for the M50-61
and
http://www.korg.com/uploads/Download/M5 ... 930000.zip for the M50-88

Select the IFX1 tab, then select an actual effect. Stereo compressor for example. THEN tap the P button and scroll all the way to the left. There should be at least a couple of pages of presets. If they are not, then you need to load the preset/demo data from scratch.
