Red, Blue, Yellow ! Which one is the least loud

Post by Dapunk »

I've seen photographs of the limited edition M50s, but I know photographs can be deceiving and tend to bring up high contrast of colours sometimes.

But damn it, I cant make my mind up whether to get Red, Blue or Yellow. Yellow could be nice, but maybe its too banana ? Or its a Mustard yellow and not so loud. Maybe if I got Yellow I would be mesmerised by it while playing (this is one reason why they use black mostly on TVs and Monitors). How about Red ? Is this loud. Actually I liked the red on the Korg Karma because while it was not black, it was not loud, so easy on the eyes and different. Blue, now that seems the least loud. Dont care much for the green.

Anybody seen these in real life ?

Thanks,
D.

I had the opportunity to see both the yellow and the red, and I preferred the the yellow one. Also my band likes it!

Well red is kinda cool, but I prefer Karma red than this ferrari red they put on the M50. Otherwise, natural looking black for me 8)

i had to go with the black too. I saw the red and yellow in person. Although they looked like exotic cars, i just thought maybe it would get old after a while. They do look pretty nice in person though. I liked how the black buttons contrasted with the yellow or red. But again, I thought it would "go out of style" after a while. I stayed safe with the black, and after having it with me, I have absolutely no regrets. The black just looks so sophisticated and nice.

Only one I've seen in person is Red (because I own it :-D). If by loud you mean bright, then Red is definately "LOUD!!!!" I personally love that about it. It looks sick, and I don't think I'm going to get tired of it anytime soon. Yellow looked cool in pictures, but I'm not sure how long I would like it for.

Thank God SILVER synths have gone out of style! Reminded me of the 1970's and shag carpet.
