Ipad ideas korg needs to look at!
Its been ages since I posted here but I'm posting because I saw the korg electribe app that Korg released and so I just had to put this idea out there.
Korg, before your competition gets a wind of the idea(which I'm sure they already do)
You need to bring out a 61key and 88key light touch small keyboard with built in sound card output that takes the Ipad in it like how the oasis looks with its screen. no need for knobs or any buttons. just the touch screen from the ipad it self.
Make it as small as the 88 keystation from Maudio and perhaps add internal speakers to it? or atleast it has to have an audio output. also make sure it disables the internal audio soundcard in the ipad and uses the one you include in the keyboard for better audio.
You have no idea how successful this thing would be for all people including kids who wants to learn piano and just plug there Ipads there with a piano application from you, to pros who can use your keyboard for your apps or others apps!
I hope you listen to this one!
Get to it before your competition does! it'd be a lot more reliable from you than them!
As for apps idea, well I'd like to see Korg triton or trinity preset app out there! or M1, or any of your old school awesome keyboards, you'd give me a reason to get the IPAD for sure!

by 61 key and 88 key I hope you don't mean all on the screen at once.... they'd be smaller than MK keys!Vic83 wrote:Its been ages since I posted here but I'm posting because I saw the korg electribe app that Korg released and so I just had to put this idea out there.

If you mean scrolling, where you can shift the keyboard left and right to reach different octaves, that'd be fine...
I'd be much happier with just 3 or 4 octaves on screen and an octave shift button than either of the above

You're looking at it from the rear, not the front.
If you turned it around and looked at it from the front, the left and right outs will be on the correct sides.

The controller comes with some iPhone/iPod Touch software. You connect the iPhone to the controller (there's a recessed area for it to sit) and you're controlling the iPhone, not some other MIDI device. The audio outs are to get the audio from the iPhone, through the keyboard, to some other source.
