Looking for Triton Le sounds n What Keyboard next?

Hi everyone,

I'm starting to worry about loosing resources for Triton Le (sound, operator system downloads etc.) What sites do you go to for the above. And also im looking at purchasing a new keyboard...ive recently played a yamaha motif xs... what other comparable keyboards should I try and what advantages do yo see in other keyboards vs the Motif.

it depends about wich sonority are you looking for. Yamaha has got high quality samples, so acustic instruments are better on them. if you need something more synthy, i suggest you Korg M3. or if you don't need something so "powerfull" maybe you should look for a Nord Electro, or a Nord stage... they are quite equals to the Korg SV-1, btw, it depends of what you need. maybe you need a Virtual Analog, so you can buy i don-t know... Radias, or V-Synth... or something less expensive like Roland SH-201, Alessis ION, Novation X-Station...

If you're looking at stage pianos for classic keyboard sounds, the SV-1 has the best electric piano sounds and the Nords have the best organ sections (since it's an actual simulation, not three or four sampled drawbar configurations like the SV-1). Between the two Nords, the Nord Stage gives you options for layering sounds (up to two each of organs, pianos/electric pianos/clavs, and synth sounds) and has a very very basic synthesizer, while the Electro 3 has more options for loading samples, including a large set of Mellotron samples, but can't layer much and has no synth.
