Combining Programs

I have a Triton LE, and have not gotten too far working through the manuals. I need to just be able to take one sound from one program, and combine it to the rhythm from another program into a new program, and then save that program under a new name. Seems simple enough but I cannot find direction to do so from the manuals. I hate to even ask, but can anyone help?
