Re-sizeable GUI ?

Post by Jauqq »

Using the Legacy DE on a MacBook, and wondering is there any way to make the GUI of the Wavestation and the M1 bigger?
The GUI, esp on the Wavestation is WAY too small!!!
My eye sight is going to give up!!!

Most laptops seem to feature ridiculously high native resolutions these days. In fact, a friend of mine has been put off buying a new one (despite really needing one) because of this very reason. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to alter the resolution of the Korg plug-ins (or indeed most other VSTs out there.)

It's not ideal, but the only workaround I can think of is to reduce - at least temporarily - the output resolution of your system. This will mean that you can generally fit a lot less on your screen (as everything will look bigger), and - depending on how well your system handles rescaling - may also result in a loss of visual sharpness.

Alternatively, you can hold the CTRL button down and move your mouse forward or backward to zoom in and out on specific parts of your screen (Mac only)

Hope this helps!

That sounds really useful! :)

Apparently there's a similar feature in the latest version of Windows (Windows 7) as well: http://www.windows7hacker.com/index.php ... magnifier/

Looks like I'm living in the past!
