KP3 NO SOUND?
Ok, well i just got my KP3 and i turned the volume on the amp and kp3 up all the way. whenever i try to play an effect nothing comes out. i tested the mic, and it works. i also tested the synth samples, which worked fine, so obviously its not completely broken? but im lloking to use this with my emx. i connected them via midi, audio cables, everything. but nothings working. so please, a little help would be appreciated.

yes! see i dont think its broken, but i think i dont have the right cables or something. cause i hear the synth noises very clearly. also i hear the drums. but nothing else.
i tried all switches but it doesnt come through.
theres another thing, the peak light doesnt come on...i dont exactly know if its supposed to be like that or not. but my best guess is its not hooked up right / with the wrong cables.

if the sound comes out of the outputs when you play the synths and drums then you have the right cables connected to the outputs (cables are cables - if you have something connected it should work)
even stupider question ... you have plugged something into the inputs?!
and there is a signal coming in on those inputs when you try to use the effects?!
delay/reverb/filters etc. will do nothing to silence!

Yes - Have you plugged a synth or an mp3 player into the RCA "line" inputs on the back (with the Connection switch set to Direct) and cranked the Input Volume all the way clockwise and set the FX Depth knob to 12 O'Clock?Pastor-of-Muppets wrote:if the sound comes out of the outputs when you play the synths and drums then you have the right cables connected to the outputs (cables are cables - if you have something connected it should work)
