Using 2 NanoPads for SSL 2.0

Post by DjWindzOne »

There's another post similar to this, but I have this problem for some time now for Serato, and I'm having trouble trying to use the editor. So here's the situation.

I'm trying to get each unit to control the decks Loop Roll, Hot cues, and other deck functions on each unit (left and Right respectively). I assign them, and they get crossed somewhere. I'm thinking it has to do with the global controls. I get extremely lost in the assignments, and I don't want to write them into the unit till I'm am certain that I can do this on my own and be able to write them in for my other DJ friends.

Can someone help me, or step by step the process for me on how to write each untis controls without having both controllers getting mixed up?

Any help is appreciated.

Perhaps unplug the one that you are not editing at that point?

I understand, but it's my n00b status in trying to get the control editor to reflect that there are 2 nanopads, so when both are connected, I can still assign, or have the assignments not be removed.

As bad as it sounds, I guess would like some help on the editor. I'm afraid of changing something, thus all my assignments in SSL are going to go "bye-bye".

And that's a lot of mapping across 2 pads for each deck, and then some.
