nanoKontrol problem under Mac OSX 10.6.3

Post by ayrtbh »

Hello everyone,

the manual said: "Connect the nanoKontrol to your computer via USB cable. The power will turn on, and A scene LED will light up".

I installed the Mac USB driver and KORG Kontrol Editer.
then I connect it to my MacBook(system: OSX 10.6.3), ALL the scene LEDs light up, ALL of them light up, not just one LED! and I can see nanoKONTROL listed in "Audio MIDI Setup", but when I open KORG Kontrol Editer, it displayed: nanoKontrol Not connected.

and nothing happen when I move the slider or knob on nanoKontrol.

software I tried : MaxMSP, Reason.

anyone experience this?

Thanks!!

New Midi-Configuration

Post by olalala »

Hi,
had the same problem as you: Audio-Midi-Setup saw the NanoKontrol, other applications did not (e.g. Logic, MidiPipe, Nano Kontrol Editor, ...). The only exception was, that I hadn't had the problem with the lights.

I could fix it, by creating a new Midi-Configuration in Audio-Midi-Setup.
Hope this helps?
