Yes it can be done. Have you looked on eBay lately? There are several people selling Korg Triton sample refills.

As far as tips on how to do it; first learn how to create multisamples from each Triton patch that you want to sample, then create sample libraries (WAVs) from the multisample sets, then to create a Reason Refill you map each patch's multisample sets into a NN-XT or NN-19 instrument and save the patch, then use Refill Packer to create the refill with the samples and sampler (NN-XT and/or NN-19) instruments. To take the refill one step further of course, you could also add effects and automation into Combinator patches.

Do you use Reason? Have you looked at a sampler (NN-XT or NN-19) patch, or Show Devices in a Combinator, or looked at each patch within a ReFill, to see how this is done? That is the best tip I can give you. The propellerheads.se site has the software and instructions for how to create refills, and I'm sure with some googling at soundonsound.com or similar, you can find out how to create multisamples.

No problem. I think the short answer is, yes it can be done but is extremely time consuming. Personally, I would only sample a Triton patch that I made myself, if I absolutely needed to play it in Reason. Since as I mentioned there are already sample Refill libraries available, I wouldn't spend my time sampling the stock sounds. I'd be more likely to sample my Multimoog... if I had the time and the market for selling such sounds.

Yea, that's a unique instrument so you might enjoy sampling it for use in Reason, as well as be able to market those samples/refills... good luck!
