I have a Triton Le bought in Mexico in 2005, it has the American AC/AC power supply cable. I moved to Europe and there I bought a 240V INPUT (9V OUTPUT) AC/AC cable which is needed to transform the power for my American Triton Le. I had been using that european cable with no problem at all.
In a very tragic and unfortunate day (2 days ago), I made a mistake and used the american (INPUT 120V) AC/AC power supply instead of the european one to connect my Triton Le to the AC outlet in here in Europe (240V) which caused a strong park and the cable got smoke and burnt smell .... of course my keybord was off but it didnt have the burnt smell...
I opened the keyboard and located the blown fuse (125 V 2A) . I wanted to buy a new one but in Europe they only have 127V 2A, I tried that one (now with the European 240 cable to transform the power ) and the keyboard is on, but the screen is white and no sound can be played - no other lights, or LED's are lighting up -.
Anyone has had any experience with something like this or has any idea about what happened to the screen and if it can be fixed?
I would appreciate any experience or help you can provide.
Thanks!
Angie
