Losing sound with change of instrument...

Post by abos1210 »

So I love the SV-1 but I have noticed that I am unable to change the sound (ie instrument) without the sound cutting out, even with the the damper pedal depressed. This upsets me to a degree because I've always dug establishing a baseline ethereal string background, holding onto the sound with the pedal and switching patches to another sound.

Is this not possible on the Korg sv-1??? Clearly you can bypass the various effects, turn them on and off, without cutting out the sound, but what about the instrument??

Thanks,
Aaron

I want this feature too. I received this response from a korg rep

"With regards to changing the sounds, that is the nature of the keyboard. I can pass your thoughts and concerns along to the appropriate department but at present that is the nature of the keyboards.
