Arpeggio patterns...can they change?

Post by radiofreebc »

Is it possible to change the pattern on an arpeggio without making movements on the ribbon pad? It'd be nice if there were a few different patterns people could use.

There are over 30 scales that are loaded in the tribes. Check pgs 44-45 of the manual.

Oh, I wasn't talking about the notes and scales...I was talking about the rhythms. Can they change? I've figured out how to change the scales, but not the rhythmic patterns (without actually moving my fingers on the ribbon...which can be sketchy sometimes).

Gotcha! You can record the apreg with playback and that will save the trigger points. It can then be edited using the step keys to add/take away triggers. Maybe that's what you are looking for?

Oh, you can swith the apreg ribbon and slider functions if you find it easier to use the slider to control the gate time. Check out pg 83 in the manual, easy stuff.

Thanks...I'll have to give that a try. That's more along the lines of what I was looking for.
