Nothing new that I've seen.apex wrote: what curtain did Roland pull (as far as workstations are concerned?)

M3, Triton Classic, Radias, Motif XS, Alesis Ion
I'd be happy with just another M3 and M50 OS update personally. There are lots of things they can add (and FIX - like the constant clipping). And if they included another EXB sound library of maybe previous Korg samplesets I'd be cool with that too.
Whining about wanting new gear will never get you anything. They have gear planned out months (years?) in advance. They know exactly what's coming out for the next 12 to 18 months. But whining about real issues and problems may get you an OS update. Do you realize that they haven't released a single update to the M50 since the 73 key was released even though there's some significant bugs? That's because nobody's complaining about them enough where they feel it's worth their time to deal with them. Sales aren't affected.
I'm not saying we should pile on Korg and make a bunch of idiotic demands but I am saying we should make an effort to prioritize what we ask for since they do read most of our threads here.
And yes, I have a bunch of ideas for new synths and workstations that I feel Korg should integrate after years of playing their gear exclusively. But I doubt Korg Japan listens to us...

Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha).
YES! HOW ABOUT A NEW STICKY DEDICATED TO AN O.S. WISHLIST!!!!I'd be happy with just another M3 and M50 OS update personally. The current sticky wishlist is not as powerful as it could be- if a new one was created with the specific guideline: OS, NOT HARDWARE, WISHLIST, then it would be a more manageable size and be more focused.
Don't think anyone is whining as such - I certainly wasn't! Just a little daydream in my case... I have used Korg (and only Korg since having an MS20, SQ10 and a Delta - when they first came out!!!!) and I adore my current set-up.McHale wrote:Whining about wanting new gear will never get you anything.
What I do agree with is the notion of OS update - so I would second the suggestion for an OS only wishlist - one each for M3 and M50 (I know they're very similar but there are differences such as Radias, etc).
Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5,
Those threads quickly turn into wish lists for next iterations of workstations and drastic hardware changes. They quickly suck.
A thread on CURRENT BUGS in the current OS would be the place to really start.
