Importing sounds

Post by icrouch »

Hi, I've figured out how to use my Korg TR as a midi controller for Reason 3, and I was wondering if there was anyway to now bypass my computer and load the sounds directly from reason onto the korg?

You could buy EXB-SMPL and sample onto the TR, or you could just buy some RAM (you'll need some with EXB-SMPL as well) and a program like AWave Studio and sample from Reason onto your computer and convert to Korg's sample format. Both options have been discussed here a fair bit; search to find more details of each.
