chord-trigger chords sound too loudly

When I press the chord trigger buttons, the chords are way too loud relative to the notes I concurrently play on the regular keyboard. This problem exists to the same degree in ALL my M50 programs and combis. It is as though someone tinkered with one of the factory settings. Is there some easy way to correct this, perhaps something in the "global" mode? I know it is possible to reduce the volume of each such chord note individually but that would take forever to adjust my entire M50. Suggestions?

Don´t know how to do it globally, but each chord can be reduced the problem pressing Page 1 Controllers. There, in chord trigger label you can edit the velocity of each chord.

The reason is that the chord buttons are not velocity sensitive, and thus plays at full velocity. Is the apparent higher volume due to a full strike of the keys.

As akmon said, chord velocity can be adjusted to match the velocity you use when playing the keys.

I'd recommend you to record your own chords using Chord Assign. The velocity you use when recording the chords will be saved and used when playing them back, so that way you get dynamic response, but as pointed out, the buttons are not velocity/strike sensitive.

You can also program them manually by entering the keys and velocities.
