Editing Key Sensitivity

Post by wajdi26 »

How can I edit a sound on my Trinity that when I press down a key, the full volume of the sound is heard, rather than pressing hard on the key to get its full volume? I think this is a sensitivity feature or function. Any help? And for MOSS sounds (M BANK), would it be the same way to edit/adjust or is it different? Thank you.

You have to ask yourself:

1) do you want it to be a global setting (affecting all patches)?
or
2) just something that affects one patch?

If #1, then go to the Global page and change the key sensitivity curve. (Take a look at the Trinity Parameter manual to look at the illustrated curves available.)

If #2, then enter Program edit mode, and go find the Amplifier and/or Filter "Velocity" values and change them. At high values, the velocity modulation is very dynamic. At lower values it will make it so it becomes less dynamic. At zero, the velocity of the keys will have no dynamics whatsoever.
