X5D VERY strange problem

Discussion relating to all other KORG synth related products that don’t have a dedicated section. For example, OASYS PCI, M1, N Series, 01W series, T series, and more…

X5D VERY strange problem

Post by UCanDream »

Any ideas about this:

I picked up an X5D on eBay and the seller said 5 notes were not playing. Well, as it is, only 2 notes are not playing but ALL of the "B" notes are very flat! In fact, they are far closer to "B flat" than they are to "C." Is this issue beyond the scope of an end user fix? I'd really appreciate any ideas.

Cheers.

Sounds like a Microcale issue. Somewhere in the GLOBAL menu you can find a page called "Global Scale" or "Micro Scale" or something. Set it to "Equal". That should do it.

Sound sets (trance, dance, house, EDM) for Yamaha, Korg, Roland and Quasimidi available here
