Issues setting number of beats in Kaossilator Pro

I just got the Kaossilator Pro a week ago and I've been having a blast playing around with it. However I seem to keep having a problem setting the number of beats for a particular loop bank to 16. What happens is I will set the number of beats in loop bank A to 8 to save a drum track and then the other three banks to 16 to record longer bass or lead loops. However, whenever I go to record on to loop bank B, C, or D the kaossilator only allows me to record a loop that is 8 beats long. When I go back to the mixing menu of the loop bank it says that it is set to 16 beats. This problem doesn't happen if I set the length to any other number. If I set it to 4 the bank will only record for 4 beats, but for some reason when I set it to 16 it always seems to change back to 8. Anyone have any idea why this keeps happening?

Is your tempo below 108.5 per chance?

If the bpm on the kaossilator is set to low (<108.5) the kaossiltor can only operate with 8 beat loops which indeed does suck but im guessing this is your problem
