Suggestions! iPhone app as extra controller...

Post by Smackjack »

The ims20 for iPad is great, but its too hard to navigate around.

How about an app for the iphone that extends the workspace? On your iPhone you have basic controlls like changing pattern and mute/solo channels. That way you can keep messing with the synth while changing pattern or making the synth solo.

The iPhone app could connect to the iPad app by wifi or bluetooth.

Two other suggestions:
Color-code patterns. You could color-code the intro to be blue, verse to be green and chours to be red. Just a small colored border on the pattern pads. That way you get a better overview of what you have at your patterns. hold down the pad for 3 sec or something to select color.

You should upload some tutorials under the help section. I would love to see a tutorial on how to make a dubstep wobble bass for example.
