Thomas Dolby anyone?

Hello, I'm a bass player and synth newbie who has an R3 on the way from an online purchase, and wanted ask if anyone has used it or any other Korg synth to emulate sounds from Thomas Dolby's "Airwaves" album, particularly the title track and "One of Our Submarines"?

I also like some of the sounds that The Fixx's Rupert Greenall came up with on the Walkabout CD. Btw, there'a clip of him onstage with at least one Korg keyboard playing "Facing the Wind" with The Fixx live in 2007.
