nanoPAD: Took me 24hr. To Get it to work

Post by CorMagga »

My my my my my, never have i seen something that came with so many problems. When i wanted to by one i got it no problem. And i thought i was going to pay way more like $71.00 to be exact, but it was only $61.

I did a t of different thing that all worked too, i might say. First I wanted to see if youtube had something for me. They had stuff but the guy took it off, so there was nothing on there for the nanoPAD. I search the net up and dwn, talked to a friend and they told me to try ASIO4ALL get it now: http://flstudio.image-line.com/help/htm ... io4all.htm

Also go to: http://korg.com/product.aspx?&pd=415
24hr later I got mine working, luv it

Wish I could make mine work in 48h but I seem to lack your skills. Howeer I have scanne all over youtube, Korg Support and other forums... all in vain!

COuld someone explain how you install NanoPAD and Nanokey in Logic and Live?
x How do you find a template which says "nanopad" in Live and Logic under COntrol SUrfaces? (I can only find Keycontrol 49 or Nanokontrol)
x If I try just playing on it from the start, looking carefully on which value is which I can only seem to get my pad nr.12 to work. Even if I put, lets say C1 on pad on the other pads it does only work on the frigging pad nr.12!

:D Happy Christmas KORUGU! I will visit you when I go to Japan, but I'm sorry, I'm no happy man...
My goal is to take over your support-department and create decent manuals everybody can understand!!

How did you go with this?

My NanoPad works fine for percussion in Logic out of the box - or have I mis-understood something?

Cheers
Peter

I think the general consensus is KORG nanopad sucks. I have all 3 controllers and out of the box the korg nanoPAD is not working with ableton. I am tired of everyone abbreviating everything,, It also seems that korg doesn't moderate their forums either. Otherwise there would be fixes for a known issue with these things. This will def be the last korg product I purchase!
