Original EMX-1 Patterns/presets
Since the new EMX-1 SD series has fresh patterns and sounds, is there any archive of the older/original sounds/patterns?

Um...yeah. I never owner the older unit so I have no idea what they sounded like. I assume it's the same spread of generic genre patterns so yeah, I'd like to hear them in the new unit.
I've been tinkering with the current patterns and stripping out the patch/sounds info. Pretty intrigued for what was on offer before.

im pretty sure the newer presets are way better than the older ones. So dont even worry about listening to the originals lol If you really want them I bet you could go to your local music store if they even have one on display or for sale and listen to them, and get a smartmedia card at the only place in the world that sells them, transfer them one by one or maybe two if ur lucky, and viola! a whole lot of work for nothing..

Can anyone else give opinions about EMX-1 vs EMX-1SD sounds?
Are the EMX-1SD sounds (PCM samples) that much better than those on the original (SmartMedia) version box?
There's about a $200 difference on a used EMX-1 vs. a new EMX-1SD... is it worth it for the sounds & patterns alone? (I don't care about which cards, as I already have plenty of both SM & SD).
Thanks

I HIGHLY DOUBT IT, you're paying a premium for being able to use an SD card, LAME! Don't take the bait.pillbug wrote:Are the EMX-1SD sounds (PCM samples) that much better than those on the original (SmartMedia) version box?
