why was the TR rack so named?

Post by korglifeguy »

just wondered why it was called the TR rack and not the trinity rack? I only knew about it in the last couple of years as I was considering buying one and I got it confused with the korg TR series thats all. Think korg could have named one or both of these a bit better. :? :)

I often wondered the same thing. It doesn't make sense for it to be an abbreviation of Trinity Rack since Rack is already in the name. Perhaps it stands for Trinity ROM since this was expanded from 24 to 32mb of samples.
