Since this is my first post in this forum I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Matthias and I come from the southern part of Germany (Bavaria to be precise).
I have read all the speculation and discussion about Korg Kronos during the last month and I am really looking forward to buying one soon. I just hope I have the money available at the release date
Currently I play on a Yamaha Motif Rack ES in combination with 2 Midi Keyboards (one weighted 88 key, one unweighted 61 key) and I bought a Clavia Nord Electro III last year. The Kronos 61 will be the perfect addition for me in terms of analog synthesis, so I won't have to play ROM-samples for synth sounds anymore but can create my own sounds right from the bottom of analog synthesis. But I also like the Kronos for the fact that it can cover just all those other types of sounds (piano, e-piano, organ, strings, ...) as well in (hopefully) superior quality.
Currenty I play mainly in a party cover band, but I also have a couple of small projects running (jazz quartet, big band, rock cover band) and I will set up a recording studio soon together with a couple of other musicians and friends.
