Best way of hooking up 2 padKontrols?

Best way of hooking up 2 padKontrols?

Anyone know if it would be better to go into separate USB ports or Daisy chain via midi (which would require external power I gather)

Mainly due to the trickyness of changing scenes during live performance, MPC style bank buttons would have been much more useful (Korg! ;-) )
