is there a way to.. (ESX)

Post by Trancient »

Hi electronicheads!
I was wondering whether there was a way to remove ALL samples into the electribe SX (not the smartmedia, but the machine itself) all in once, and not by remobing it one by one (that is a loooong and tiring process). the instructions manual does not speak about it, but I still find hard to believe there's not an option for a radical deletion of everything that is in the machine.

does anyone of you know?

stickied at the top of this page is a thread on using the esx wav organizer. i used that to save everything on my tribe and then to load a blank file that would do what youre trying to do. im sure there is a shortcut or something but thats the only way i know how. if you dont have a memory card i dont know how to do it.

turn it off
hold down solo and write button
turn back on
it asks you to initialize follow the prompts
erases everything.
