Can anyone share their global settings for the Vocal portion on the Korg Pa2x? I'd like to record mp3's of myself

This works for me, might not for you.

Master EQ:

Low Gain: 10.5 dB
Mid : 18 dB
Freq.: 8 kHz
Hi: 4 dB

I would STRONGLY advise against such DRASTIC EQ settings. I bet you either are using headphones, or have the volume really low. Or the speakers are facing away from you...

Otherwise you would have howling and screeching feedback the minute you opened you mouth to sing....

On those levels it wold sound honky, and quite woolly...Man I have never seen such high EQ levels..

No wonder you need to have the mid freq at 8??? Those frequency levels and above only add "air" and a bit of "sparkle" and not much at that!! BUt with the lows, arrggghhh I cannot go on.

Sorry, but I must speak my mind here., those EQ setings are ridiculous. .

I cannot think of that kind of EQ, lolz, its really way over any possible limit.
Unless, you dont even have the EQ turned on and just the mind game which
usually happens, we play with setting but they dont affect the sound, similar
to Tylenol, you have a headache, you take one, it doesnt really help you but
you think it does...cuz you took it.
