NanoPAD with Reason 4

Post by RealDanMan »

Hello all!

I have a problem which a lot of people seem to be having with the NanoPAD

I'm a reason user and I've set up the nano under the controller settings as a korg 'MIDI Control Keyboard' yet the input seems to be totally random.

I tap a pad and it seems to register as a hit sometimes but no sound plays (through ReDrum, or any hardware device).

I have the Korg USB drivers and have set up the pad to emulate a keyboard using the Korg Kontrol software AND made sure the setup up was written to the pad (pad 1, scene 1 starting at note C1 and going up through the scenes) but it isn't working in any usable way with reason 4.

Any help would be great but I appreciate this isnt a forum for reason

Hi Dan

Have you tried 'Korg <Other> (MIDI Control Surface)', or this ASIO4ALL - Universal ASIO Driver, this may or may not solve your problem, I hope this helps. Let me know how you get on.
