Record on Startup??

Post by Sanat »

Hey people,

I just wanted to know if it was possible to set up he M50 so that when you start it up, it'll automatically start recording. Or, the metronome is already going, so I can just press the START/STOP button to record. I do a lot of piano improv, and my best stuff usually comes right after I start up the keyboard. I want to be able to capture that. Is there any possible way to do so on the M50?

Also, is it possible that when you start up the keyboard, it goes to sequence mode, and the Metronome Setup sound is automatically set to off?

Thanks in advance,
Sanat :)

More or less, you can do it anyway. Just turn on and then press ENTER+REC/WRITE and finally START/STOP and you can start recording.

By other side, you can make the metronome muting in preferences label (in SEQ mode) at metronome setup. Even you can start inmediately recording inserting 0 value in Precount.
100% hardware made. All is done in a Korg M50 internal sequencer. Now updated (7/09/12) at http://www.hispasonic.com/akmon

No, but it's easy to set up... as described above.
