2loose - Slap That Goth - Mar 2011

Another experiment here. Trying to capture an 80s new wave meets early industrial vibe.

Another good song here. I like it, and could again imagine portions of this song being played by a Metal band. Oh, and I see you're still experimenting with the pitch bends. They're working really well.

Nice sounds, complex and powerful. Good work. :)

Yes, Mr King: been having a real blast with the m3. Some of those sounds are my own doing as I have found few of the stock sounds thick enough or distorted enough to use without lots of layering. But its gotta be done right and not overdone, so I've been walking the fine line betw loud and boomy and distorted and yet easy on the ears. Also, this was fun once I came up with that unusual intro and some of the strange segments that developed organically.

Hi George,

Love this one!!! Great sounds with the pitch bend indeed and the melodies are awesome... It carries the feel of metal, I agree but hear more industrial overall .... maybe its meant for more development!

I agree with Pumpkin King Very powerful overall!! Love the falling parts starting at 2:24... and the feel grows to something quite exciting by the time the altered rhythmic feel begins at about 2:52...

The continued development through 4:00 is all just spot on! !! and the closing starting at 4:43!!!!! WoW Very touchy tough!!! Love the close!

Very exciting as usual Like this George GOOD STUFF!!!!!!

Thanks for this one!!!!

Regards, Johnny,John, ellll :D

I was wondering if I would get comments on the ending, I"ve been working on my intros and endings and trying to take advantage of each section and letting them be what they can be. I do find it a bit easier to develop songs with this tempo as there is more space between the notes to let the rhythmic elements shine thru without competing too much. That being said, I do have some faster pieces in the making and they have their own challenges. Thank you for following my ups and downs over the years, and for your encouragement. It means the world to me. I do believe we are all developing much more than we would be doing just on our own.

Couldn`t agree more......This is so clearly defined without "clutter" and has hit your objective for being right on the line.....for my ears, it`s great! Your piece is one of the best I`ve heard in this genre... which I find hard to get a handle on....you`re making a "believer" out of me George!
CHEERS!

Hi George, Sorry for not replying sooner. Well very industrial indeed George, some good distortion here in the lead keys. It reminds me of The Art of Noise and Depeche Mode with a Marilyn Manson twist hehehe, good song overall again George!
