EMX-1, flashing solo button?

Post by LamptonWorm »

Hi,

When I've been randomly jamming away, I've noticed I can get the solo button flashing, and I'm not sure how to get it to stop. I'm sure I've accidentally set some solo mode or something, just curious to know as I can't (yet) find the bit in the manual about it flashing.

Cheers,
LW.

I'm not sure it's the same on the EMX, but on the ESX if you hold down the solo button and turn the main dial it transposes the notes of the keyboard parts and causes the solo button to blink if not returned to the original key.

When you hold the blinking solo button down does the display read "transpose"? If so, that is what is happening.

Ah yes, thanks - that's probably it. I'll have a play.

No. If while you are playing you notice the solo button is blinking, it is because you have transposed the key.

To get the button to stop blinking, hold the button down then turn the main dail until the screen reads "Transpose 0" or somethig like that. If any other numbers appear with transpose (1, 3, -12) then the solo button will continue to blink until you reset to zero.
