Are nanopad2 pads better than nanopad

Post by scstudios »

I have the nanopad and dont know if its worth trying to get the newer nanopad2 or another nanopad model. The original has a great layout when you want to stick 2 next to each other. This new design is not good for that. If there is no difference at all in the physical design of the pads, I will get another of the older model.

Bump.

Are there any advantages of the Nanopad2 over the Nanopad?

You asked about the nanoPad. Can't help you there, but I can pass on some comments about my experience with a nanoKontrol 2. The pots and sliders are more robust, but to be completely honest I'm sorry I upgraded. There is now only one "scene" and I also don't think any 'improvements' were worth the money. I had some questions too, which I sent along to Korg and they never bothered to answer them. So, in brief, my suggestion to nanoKontrol users is: if you can get another original at a good price, buy it instead of a version 2 model. Sorry that I can't offer more advice about nanoPad 2.

@playz123 I completely agree. Just wrote up my own topic here: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=64358

I would imagine the same problems will exist for nanopad users.
