MEMORY OVERFLOW

Post by 3 fingers »

I know I came up against this before but I can't remember how I fixed it. I have a PBS TRI along with the RAM from a Trinity Plus that it was working perfectly in and I've now installed in a V3. I did a 0 + ENTER reset and the V3 shows the extra banks and lots of free space and reports the PBS TRI is there on powerup.

Here's the thing, when I try to load any files into the PBS I soon get a "MEMORY OVERFLOW" error message. DUH ... anybody know what I'm doing wrong here?

I'm going off the top of my head here, but I seem to recall that this happens when the memory size or sample/multisample number is exceeded on the PBS. On one of the last pages of the global menu (p8 or p9, maybe?) you can reach the 'clear sample data' command (or something similar) from the upper right drop-down menu. That should help - as should deleting some samples and/or multisamples do.

Let us know if it worked! :)

Yes, that's it. P6 upper right hand corner.

Thanks so much for the quick response! :)
