Padkontrol and Windows 7 32 issue
Hello
I installed (following all the steps) the latest driver (Pc_1.13r6)and still padKontrol isn't recognized by any software. In Windows xp works fine and also throu a midi cable. The problem appears when I want to use the padKONTROL only by USB connection in win 7 32 bits (that's the way the controller should work)
-I'm on a Core I5 dell laptop-
Other instalation data:
User mode driver: 1.13.00.03
Kernel mode driver: 1.06.00.01
Anyone have the same issue?
I'd appreciate your help
Thank you

I had a problem with my nanokontrol when i got it. dunno if this will help but its worth a shot... apparently with the korg USB-MIDI drivers they dont work in certain versions of windows if you have more than 10 MIDI drivers installed.. run the uninstall MIDI driver (or device.. cant recall off hand) utility that comes with the Korg driver... i found that i had 14 MIDI drivers (or devices??) installed already.. the uninstall midi driver (or device??) utility allows you to uninstall any of your existing midi drivers (or devices??).. including non-korg ones.. i found 5 drivers (or devices??) that i had no use for so uninstalled them AND the nanokontrol then reinstalled the nanokontrol so that it was no longer in a slot above the tenth one.. and it worked perfectly there-after. still have to see if thats the same issue i have had with getting my kaossilator pro editor to recognise my kopro.
PS: i'm running an i5 dell studio 1749
using windows 7 64 bit
hope this helps

Hello,
its seems that I have same problem with all of my nanoSeries, Im running Win7 x64 on a Acer TravelMate - 5742 i3,
When I installed for the first time the nanoKontrol it was working, I'v setup all keys and it was working perfectly.
Then I wanted to install the nanoPad but my system didnt recognized it.
When connecting to the USB port the LED is flashing for a while and then dies.
I searched the web and I found this post wich I find close to what have happened to me.
The only thing is, that I have only 2 MIDI drivers preinstalled and still, its not working.
Can someone help me with this problem. I already have try all off the solutions found on the net

are you connecting the nanoPad on a USB hub or directly to port? have you tried on the same port that the nanokontrol works on? have you run 'install Korg MIDI device' to specifically install the nanoPad? and have you tried installing and using the nanoPad on a different computer?

THIS NEEDS TO BE STICKIED.....
Dozens of open threads have the same issue.
Running the midi uninstall and selecting other midi devices fixes the problem.
THANKS!!! Who would have thought having lots of midi devices would cause this to fall down. It's kinda the whole point of midi to have a lot of stuff stacked up.
