Which OS update do I load for Triton LE?

Post by alvincflorentino »

Just recently purchased a used LE but it had a busted power supply (from being plugged into the wrong socket, 110 > 220v!) which I already replaced. Not sure if the synth will work with the new power supply or if it affected it's "innards" but I'm hoping it'll be ok. Now, I've been to the Korg website and noticed there are a successive number of upgrades to the OS of the Triton LE over the past years: v1.03, 1.04 and finally v1.50. Question is: do I have to install each OS from the oldest then the next one ending with v1.50? Or do I just install v1.50 and that will install ALL previous versions already? Thanks for the help!

Just install the latest one.
The OS patches are typically a snapshot of the whole OS.

Read the readme or help or whatever first, and it will tell you if you need to already be upgraded to a certain version before installing that update.

If you have any patches on there, worth backing them up too.
