XMS64 UPDATE

Post by oscaralfa »

Hello Dirk,
please send me a copy of your settings so I try to follow. attilio@skizzo3000.it

I installed every thing as described into the Installation Guide. I went to the site you suggested me and I found the file xms64v211pa2x.bkp and the Warning! :

This software is only for instruments with XMS Music Systems. If you load it in other instruments it could come to a damage. Never load it without XMS Dongle and OS System.

So what I have to do without damage? What means without XMS dongle ?Which are the benefit if installing ?

Other question:
The files into the USB Stick are named XMS-PA2X-V2.11-FULL.BKP and XMS-PA2X-V201-1065.PKG . Why not XMS64-xxx-xxx-xxx ??[/b]. May be are different?
I'll look forward to your answers.
Great regards
Attilio

The XMS-PA2X-V2.11-FULL.BKP file is alle XMS data sounds/styles and more
The XMS-PA2X-V201-1065.PKG is the file that make XMS running with
your XMS USB stick. You can find the number 1065 on your XMS stick

Hi Torben,
thanks for details, ( of course I got the Installation Guide with the USB Stick) but if possible I need the answer to my questions, to understand if my USB Stick is the right one or not.

Regards
Attilio
