Setting BPM in R3

Post by joshuabarbour »

Just got the R3 and am trying to set the BPM's at 86. but it jumps from 85-87. I've looked online, in here and in the manual. SO far there is no way to set it from the knob, is this correct? I don't know how to set it from a computer or whatever the other threads say to do. Can anyone save me please?! We have a show very soon and without this knowledge i'm a douche. Thanks so much.

You can select the field, type it in using the number buttons, and hit Enter.

In the editor, you mean? Sorry but wasn't really clear.

I will mention - this keeps on coming up and I keep on mentioning it but I can't remember if it is there on the R3 or not, but on the old microKorg you could hold down shift and use the octave up/down to nudge a parameter up or down a notch...

Sorry Joshua, your post was originally in the M3 section of the forums and I didn't notice that it said "R3" and not "M3". Thus my answer applies to the M3 and I have no idea whether or not the R3 has a way to set BPM precisely. Good luck!
