Did you read the manuals?

Start with a blank Combi, in one of the empty Combi banks. They have 16 timbres ready to go on 16 different MIDI channels.

Or, start with a Combi that inspires you, copy it to an empty location, and add more MIDI channels to it as you build the track.

I think he was asking about midi routing the K into his DAW.

You really should read the manual, but to get started, Local Control "On" in Kronos Global and Patch thru "Off" in PT. If you will be working in the Internal Seq. and recording to PT,
then you will have to set each channel that you will be using in K to "Both" in the Timbre Parameters page. This is just a basic for you to get started.. You can do this also from Combi mode.

Have a look at the Wiki at KLF. This will get you up and going, but you have to read.. http://karma-lab.wikidot.com/search:sit ... 20to%20daw
