New Kronos 73 - touchscreen / plastic covering ?
just purchased kronos 73..... the touchscreen is not working, but believe it may be (hopefully) because there's a plastic protective coating put on for shipping....before i try to more aggressively remove, wanted to confirm with other owners that their touchscreen came covered w/protective plastic...and if so, how they removed....just want to avoid damaging screen.....

I don't believe there was a plastic coating on my Kronos 88. Just the white paper "LCD/Spacer Caution" document was covering the screen.
I would suggest calling Korg Product Support. You may have a hardware problem.
Sorry to hear you are having a problem.

there's no protective plastic on the screen. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE ANYTHING.

+1, my K88 had the same problem - unresponsive screen, and it didn't have any protective plastin on the screen, just a pease of paper on top of it, you have a defective unit, sorry to hear about your problem, hope you will have your replasement soon.
P.S. : im still waiting for my replacement too
