Another question - damper...

When i play live, sometimes i do the following: play the solo with right hand and sustain last chord or note with damper pedal. When the sound is sustained, i change the transpose for a new music, and the sound too. (not more than one tab).
When i change the sound, even pressing the damper, the sound stops when i choose the new sound.

I know someone will ask for it, and my answer is: yes, i've tried only changing performances, not direct sounds.
